Buyer questions
Which SMP should I choose?
Standard medium-heat SMP suits sachet repacking, yoghurt and bakery. Recombining UHT milk requires a higher grade with stricter solubility and bacterial limits. State your use in the enquiry and we quote the right grade.
How many tonnes per container?
It depends on packing and container size (palletised bags or big bags, 20ft or 40ft). The exact tonnage is stated in each offer.
What is the ECOWAS import duty?
Milk powder in bags of 25 kg and more falls under CET line 0402.10.10.00, with a 5% duty before levies. An increase is under discussion; check the rate in force with your forwarder before arrival.
Why book early this season?
Global demand for SMP has been strong since summer 2026 and European dairies confirm volumes in order of orders. A firm offer is valid for a few days only.
