What you are buying

  • The product: whole milk, standardised and pasteurised, then spray-dried. A finished milk: the fat is already in the powder, so it only needs water to make milk again.
  • The composition: fat min. 26%, protein min. 26%, moisture max. 4%. The fat level is within the international range for whole milk powder (26% to under 42% fat under Codex Standard 207-1999).
  • The quality: white-creamy colour, free-flowing powder without lumps or impurities, taste and smell typical of pasteurised milk. Scorched particles disc B, insolubility index max. 1%. The certificate of analysis of each lot gives the results.
  • The uses: consumer packs and sachets, tins, and reconstituted milk. Also used in bakery and confectionery where a full milk taste is needed.
  • The packing: 25 kg paper bag with a polyethylene liner, palletised or floor-loaded; the load plan is stated in each offer.
  • The keeping: 24 months. Because of its fat, whole milk powder is more sensitive to heat and humidity than skimmed milk powder: store it dry, below 25 °C.

Frequently asked questions

What is full cream milk powder?

Whole milk, standardised and pasteurised, then spray-dried into a powder with min. 26% fat and min. 26% protein. It is also called whole milk powder (WMP) or FCMP.

What is the difference between full cream and skimmed milk powder?

Skimmed milk powder (SMP) has max. 1.25% fat and min. 34% protein; industry uses it as a base and adds its own fat. Full cream milk powder already contains the milk fat (min. 26%) and is sold mostly as a finished milk, in sachets, tins and consumer packs.

What is the difference between full cream and fat filled milk powder?

Full cream milk powder contains only milk fat. Fat filled milk powder (FFMP) is a blend of skimmed milk and vegetable fat (coconut or palm oil). It is cheaper, but it is not milk powder in the legal sense: check your local labelling rules.

Which analyses are guaranteed?

Fat min. 26%, protein min. 26%, moisture max. 4%, scorched particles disc B, insolubility index max. 1%, and the microbiological limits listed in the table. Each lot comes with a certificate of analysis.

How many tonnes fit in one container?

About 16 to 18 t in a 20ft and 24 to 25 t in a 40ft dry container, in 25 kg bags. The exact tonnage and load plan are stated in each offer. The minimum order is one full 20ft container.

How should I store full cream milk powder?

In a dry warehouse below 25 °C, at relative humidity below 75%, on pallets, away from walls and direct sun. Shelf life is 24 months. It travels in a dry container at ambient temperature, not in a reefer.

Which documents come with each shipment?

Health certificate, certificate of analysis for each lot, certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading. SGS or Bureau Veritas inspection before loading on request.

How fast can you load, and how is the order confirmed?

Usually 10–21 days after receipt of the bank transfer. The order is confirmed in the contract and proforma invoice; payment is agreed for each contract.
