Three grades for different markets
- Meaty: whole neck bones with a generous amount of meat left on the bone. Chosen by buyers who sell to households and restaurants looking for a meaty cut.
- Semi-meaty: a balance between meat content and price. A common choice for wholesale markets.
- Shaved: neck bones trimmed close to the bone, the most economical grade, mostly used for soups and stocks.
The grade is stated on each carton label and in our offer, so you know exactly what you are buying.
