Frozen Chicken Leg Quarters – Wholesale Supplier & Exporter

ATC Group supplies frozen chicken leg quarters in full reefer containers to importers, wholesalers and distributors in West Africa. The product comes from EU-approved plants: birds raised in the EU and slaughtered in Poland, class A, bone-in, skin-on. It is packed in 10, 15 or 20 kg cartons with an inner bag and shipped in 40ft containers at -18 °C. In Ghana, leg quarters are by far the most requested poultry item. Every offer states the class, the carton weight and the container tonnage; the plant identification mark is indicated on the health certificate.

What you are buying

  • The cut: the rear quarter of the chicken, meaning the whole leg (thigh and drumstick) with part of the back and the rump. This is different from drumsticks alone or thighs alone, which are other products.
  • Class A: light, slightly pink colour, with no feathers, no foreign matter and no freezer burn. Only a few small pinpoint haemorrhages and slight skin reddening are accepted.
  • Weight: about 250–350 g per piece, indicative. The standard product is ungraded: the actual weight depends on the lot and is stated in the offer.
  • Presentation: bulk in a bag inside the carton (block). Other presentations (IQF, individual bags) are possible on request, depending on the plant.
