Chicken paws or chicken feet: what is the difference?
Both products come from the same part of the bird, but the cut is different:
- Chicken paws: cut below the joint, without the tarsus (the long, scaly part of the leg). What remains is the pad and the toes. Our grade A paws have the yellow skin removed and the nails cut, 30 g and above per piece.
- Chicken feet: cut at the joint, with the tarsus, so the piece is longer. Our Grade A or Grade B feet weigh more than 35 g per piece (35–45 g on average). Grade B specifications are stated in each offer.
In your enquiry, state the product (paws or feet), the grade and the minimum weight per piece: these three criteria define the goods.
